Well Abandonment
In the event that the well is no longer usable, or not needed, it must be abandoned according to the requirements of the M.O.E. Reg.903 by a licensed well contractor/ technician.
There are very specific regulations covering abandonment, which typically require filling the well with an impermeable material which is often bentonite and or cement grout.
